    Gala

    Galas are an earlier variety ready to pick usually in late August and early September. They are sweet, mild and crisp. This variety originated in New Zealand.

    Honeycrisp

    Honeycrisp are also an earlier fruiting variety. Just like the name says, they are crisp and sweet and juicy too. They were developed in Minnesota for cold hardiness.

    Jonafree

    This variety is bears heavy crops of fruit with low-acid Jonathan flavor. It originates from Urbana, Illinois, and ripens later than Gala and Honeycrisp, more like mid September.
